Yun Zhou's Bio

I grew up in Shanghai, China. Shanghai is definitely one of the biggest and the most interesting cities in the world. You can find all kinds of life styles there. I attended Peking University and got my bachelor's degree in French/Economics. What an interesting combination of majors!

My life in the US started in L.A. I got my first master's degree - M.A. in French from UCLA. Now I'm working on my second and also the last master's degree in SJSU. In the meantime, I'm also working as software QA intern in Ciphergen Biosystems, Inc, where I have a very cool boss.

Besides studying, I love traveling, movies, music, novels, and tennis. My favorite groups are Cranberries and Coldplay. I've been to France once, which was the coolest experience I've ever had. I went to Paris, Bordeaux, and a small town by the Atlantic Ocean. I loved wandering around in the narrow streets by myself and visit the small boutiques, markets. However, I still didn't like cheese all that much.
