Bio:

My name is Pragya Rana (pragya.rana9@gmail.com ) and I'm currently a graduate student of Computer Science at San Jose State University. For my Masters project, I am working with Dr. Pollett to add Differential Privacy to Yioops Discussion Board System.

I completed my Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Kathmandu University, Nepal in 2008. I worked as a Web Developer for roughly a year and then I moved to Bay Area in 2009. I had worked as a Build and Release Engineer for almost 7 years in Bay Area. Now I'm focusing towards my Masters so I could explore other areas in Computer Science that interests me.

My areas of interest include Cloud Computing, Information Retrieval, Web Development, System Engineering. My hobbies are dancing, hiking, reading non-fiction books.
