About Me

My name is Timothy Chow, though most people refer to me as Tim, or Timmy for convenience. I am currently working towards a Master's degree in Computer Science in San Jose State University, which is also where I got my Bachelor's degree as well. In regards to computers, I find myself drawn towards the topics of database and machine learning, although I am also somewhat interested in natural language processing and how computers can understand humans in general. For this master's project, I'll be working on improving on a search engine, in particular an open source one which was developed by one of the professors in this university.
