Programming Project: Final project report
DATE DUE: Monday, May 15, 2017
Points possible: 10 points
CS-160: Software Engineering
Instructor: Robert Bruce

OVERVIEW

Each member of the project will individually write and submit a final project report. This is an individual assignment, not a group assignment. The final project report should include a title page followed by a two-page report.

SPECIFICATIONS

Your report should begin with a title page that includes:

  • Project codename (if applicable)
  • Your team name (if applicable)
  • Names of all members of your team.
  • CS-160: Software Engineering
  • Spring 2017
  • Your name

The next two pages of your report should be formatted double-spaced and include:

  • Your contributions to the project.
  • Each of your team member's contributions to the project from your perspective.
  • An overall assessment of the success and failures (if any) on the project. This is an opportunity to discuss time management issues, communication issues among team members, etc. It's an opportunity for you to reflect upon the project and how well the team performed.
Please DO NOT cut-and-paste the contributions from other team members into your report. Just do your best job at remembering each of your team member's contributions. I'm not looking for perfect memory here but an honest assessment.

I realize there may be team member conflict. How could things be improved if you had to do this all over over again? Remember that project management will be something you'll likely encounter again in your professional career. To that end, what could be done to improve a bad situation? I don't want a textbook answer. I want to hear your constructive thoughts.

SUBMITTING YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Please name your final programming project report programming_project_final_report_LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME followed by an appropriate file extension (i.e. .doc, .docx, .pdf).

Please save your document in Word or Acrobat format.

LATE ASSIGNMENTS

Assignments submitted after the due date will be worth, at most, 5 points. Additional points will be deducted for reports not meeting the specification as outlined above.
