The Summer University is divided into groups of universities that focus on different disciplines. In the Computer Science discipline the partner universities include the Vaud School for Engineering and Business (better known by its French acronym HEIG-VD.), San Jose State University, CSU Long Beach, Arizona State University, the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (Surathkal, India), and the PES School of Engineering (Bangalore, India).
Every July 10 students from each of the participating universities (30 from HEIG-Vd) meet for four weeks of short courses and other activities.
