The Climbing Model

In the climbing model every patch has altitude, which deceases with the distance from the middle patch.

Turtles are scattered randomly about the landscape. Although a turtle doesn't know where the summit is located, it knows which neighboring patch has the highest altitude and moves there. Eventually all turtles find the summit.
