CS 154 (Section 1 and 2): Formal Languages and Computability, Spring 2009

Note for 1st section of 154 about 3/19 C

The grammar I gave for the gramar of Example 5.11 in the text was still ambiguous, for expressions like a + b + c. The one given in the book (Example 5.12) is not ambiguous, and furthermore, fixes the "left to right" preference, and thus can easily be expanded to handle /, %, and -.
