Project schedule as a Gannt chart

Pick a real or imaginary activity that:

• has a finite duration (i.e., it doesn’t last forever)
• requires at least two people to perform
• has 12-20 tasks organized hierarchically, some of which depend on each other and some of which can be done in parallel

Examples:

• planning a party
• arranging an event
• constructing a website

Assignment

Use GanttProject or Microsoft Project to create a schedule for your activity as a Gantt chart. Be sure to create your resources (people) and allocate them well to the tasks.
