The 2011 Summer University Program in Computer Science

July 4 – July 29

Spend this July at the beach,

Make friends with peers from Switzerland

Visit tech companies eager to hire you, and earn three units of credit toward your CS/SE degree

Every July top students from universities in India, Switzerland, and the US meet for four weeks of short courses and other activities.

In 2011 the Summer University convenes on the campus of CSU Long Beach.

Accommodation will be in Seal Beach at the Oakwood Long Beach Marina.

The dates of the program are July 4 – July 29.

Applications should be submitted by 5 PM April 12. Ten participants will be selected and notifications made within a few days.

NOTE: The deadline has been extended to April 12

This year the cost of the program is $1000 per student (We are working on further ways to reduce this cost.) This includes room, tuition, and excursions. Participants must deposit $600 to the department by April 18. Failure to do so may result in loss of your spot on the Long Beach team.
