Due dates for programming assignments
                  Sections 1-2 of CS 152, Fall 1997

             Assignment 1       Wednesday, September 24
             Assignment 2       Wednesday, October 15
             Assignment 3       Wednesday, November 5
             Assignment 4       Monday, November 24
             Assignment 5       Wednesday, December 10

     These due dates apply to both sections -- students in the Tuesday/Thursday
section may turn them one class day early (and will be receiving them one
class day early).  


                            Exam dates

     The first exam will very likely be October 7/8.  The second exam will be
between the due dates for Assignments 3 and 4.  The third exam will be between
the due dates for Assigments 4 and 5.

     You may take any of the exams, including the final exam, with either section.

     The final exam for the Tuesday/Thursday section will be 12:15-2:30, Thursday,
December 18, in the regular classroom.  The final exam for the Monday/Wednesday
section will be either Monday or Wednesday evening, December 15 or 17, from 5:15-
7:30 in the regular classroom.  There will be only one final exam for this section;
the entire class will have to agree on one of these two dates.  If you're in
this section, you might want to find out as soon as possible when your other final
exams are, what your travel plans are, etc.
