For courses of which I have more than one section, it is probably ok to
take your exam with another section, but please ask -- sometimes there
isn't enough room.

Except for final exams, my tests tend to consist of one full page of
questions.  Please don't try to fit all of your answers on the test sheet.

Please bring your own paper.  I normally bring some for those who forget.

The test is designed to take the entire class period, so you may leave
when you are finished (but not while people are still arriving).

I will try to start a few minutes early and end a few minutes after the
end of class.

I don't need the test sheet back (unless there is something on it that you
want me to see).

Unless I say otherwise, you don't need to show your work.  However it is
often hard to give partial credit if you don't.

I usually provide a few references, including the class text.

Please ask me if you are unsure about what a question is asking.  There's
not much I can do for you after a test is over if you tell me that you
could have answered the question, but didn't understand it.
