Who should go and why

·       Participants should be upper division and graduate students in the BSCS, MSCS, or BSSE programs.

·       Participants should have a working knowledge of programming (CS160 and/or CS174, for example) and networks (CS158A, for example).

·       Participants will gain experience working with teams composed of Swiss and US students. Hopefully, the connections made with Swiss students will lead to future collaborations beyond the summer and beyond graduation.

·       International travel is an important component of any good education. Sadly, science and engineering students seldom get to participate in study abroad programs because of the large number of required courses they must take.

·       This is a great opportunity to see a great country for a small amount of money!
