Organizations often have hierarchial structures. An athletic league might consists of several conferences. A conference might consist of several divisions, and a division might consist of several teams. A corporation might have several divisions. A division might have several offices, and an office might have several branches. An army might consist of several brigades. Each brigade might consist of several companies. Each company might consist of several platoons.
