I have successfully connected to Oracle using SQLBrowser.java 

I can connect to Oracle using DAOBean.java, but get the error:

   exceeded simultaneous SESSIONS_PER_USER limit 
   
In both cases, it took a lot of fiddling around to 
make sure classes12.zip was indeed on my classpath.

Just execute whatever .zip file appears on your CD. In my case it's
cloudscape364.zip. You can also download software and instructions from
