Notes when using the GNS3 Emulator:

á      For installation and configuration of the virtual lab, follow the documentation on the website of GNS3. Here is the link http://www.gns3.net/documentation/gns3/quick-start-guide-for-windows-users.

á      For Lab 3:

a.     Use "NM-4T" as the adapter for each router.

b.     When configuring the IP address for each interface, type in "interface serial0/0" instead of "interface fast0/0".

á      For Labs 3, 4, and 6:

o   Use "NM-4T" for the adapter.

o   Make sure all the interfaces used in labs are activated by running "no shutdown".

á      For Labs 5/6

o   The formula (Tc=Bc/Be) in page 10 of lab 5 is wrong. Ignore it as well as the entire page 11 of lab 5. The correct formula is on page 14 of lab 6, Tc=Bc/CIR.

o   While doing Lab 6, pay extra attention in typing the commands, and strictly follow all the steps.
