Java

• Compiler: The Sun JDK 1.5.0 (now 5.0).

Ada

• Compiler: A Version of the Gnat Ada compiler based on djgpp.
• Tutorials: Lovelace (which comes with the above compiler).

Scheme

• The MIT Scheme Home Page (with many links to resources).
• Compiler: Dr. Scheme.
• The Scheme Language Definition (a model of concise description). Also downloadable in postscript.
• Tutorials:
• Professor Paul Wilson's Tutorial at the University of Texas (very thorough, as good as many books).
