An excursion to magic graph theory: Ancient history and recent development.

Abstract: Magic squares were considered as a puzzles for more than

thousand years. Until early 70 mathematicians tried to extend the concept

to magic graphs. I will survey different generalization. After becoming

familiar with the basic terminology and facts in the talk, the audience

will gain an insight into the problems of magic graph theory. The talk

will give a wider audience the opportunity to take part in a dynamic

research process in the area of graph theory, group theory and elementary

number theory.
