What I expect from you as a student:

• Show up for class
• Show up for class on time
• Know what the topic is for that day (the lecture schedule is linked from the course web page)
• Have already read the corresponding part of the textbook (see the lecture schedule)
• After the class meets, go over the material again (textbook, and notes, if any)
• Do your homework (and on time!)
• Do your own homework by yourself. (You can discuss it orally but you must do your own writing.)
• Arrange your schedule so that you have identifiable hours each week to spend on this course.
• Work at a steady pace throughout the semester instead of in frantic bursts just before the midterms.
