Melody Moh was born in Taiwan and had been in Singapore during high
school years. She obtained her BSEE from National
Taiwan University, MS and Ph.D., both in computer science, from Univ.
of California - Davis.
She joined the Department of Mathematics and
Computer Science, San Jose State University in 1993, and has been
a Professor since Aug 2003.
Prior to joining SJSU,
she had two-years industry experience in the area of distributed
computing. In addition, she was with 3Com
Technology Development Center while on sabbatical leave in 1999/2000.
Her research interests include mobile, wireless networks, sensor networks
and RFID for biomedical applications, mobile Internet, and multicasting.
She has published over 70 refereed technical
papers in international journals and conferences, and
has consulted for various companies.
Dr. Moh is a member of IEEE and ACM.
