The "Exam Scores and Grades" Writeup has been updated to reflect your approximate letter grade to date. These will correspond to the raw scores that were recently e-mail to you.
The assignment asks for "brief answers to questions", but there really aren't any specific questions you need to answer. This has been removed from the "Sumbision Guidelines" section.
The student_name/1 predicate section has been expanded to explain how gprolog handles strings.
The first example should read,
(distinct-free? '((10 1) (10 2) (10 3) (11 2)) '((2 2) (1 2) (1 1) (1 3)))
Which evaluates to #f.
Thanks to Justin Bellomi for pointing out this correction.
Also, you may want to be aware of a clarification. In addition to rotation and translation, your program should handle reflection. So the following expression evaluates to #f.
(distinct-free? '((1 1) (1 2) (2 2) (2 3)) '((2 1) (1 2) (2 2) (1 3)))
Dates for A1, A2 have been extended, due to instructor's absence last week. Please see the assignment write-ups for the new dates.
Please do not come to class Thurs., Feb 7, 2008. Your instructor is out sick for the rest of this week and hopefully will return Tues., Feb. 12, 2008, when Quiz 2 will be administered.
Apologies to those who showed Tuesday, as you instructor was unable to provide notice of absence.
This will cause a one week setback in lecture presentations, which may require skipping some materials. To keep pace, please begin working on Assignments #1 and #2, which should also help you prepare for Q2.
Given the early meeting time scheduled for this course, your instructor is considering conducting office hours via e-mail to accommodate more off-campus students. If you have another preference or suggestions for office hours, please communicate this in e-mail to your instructor (martin@cs.sjsu.edu).
